Online Rites of Passage Framework Training

A course for anyone guiding others through change. positive community change

A Rite of Passage is a structured, intentional process that helps people move through significant life transitions – like adolescence, parenthood, career shifts or elderhood – with greater confidence, meaning and support. Building upon the knowledge gained in our Level 1 training, this program advances your understanding about the Art of Facilitation. Learn how to apply your skills in live scenarios with real groups so you can grow your impact as a facilitator.
For thousands of years, cultures across the world used Rites of Passage to nurture emotional growth, belonging and leadership. In modern life, we’ve lost many of those frameworks -leaving people to navigate change alone, without the tools or support they need to thrive and transform into healthy, fulfilled humans.

A structured journey through three modules

Module 1

Separation

Stepping away from the familiar.

Every Rite of Passage begins with separation. A deliberate break from the everyday world. The home, the school, the workplace, the routines that hold a person in place.
In this section, you’ll learn why separation matters, how to create a sense of safety as people step into the unknown, and how to enrol people into the experience so they arrive ready to do the work.

Module 2

Transformation

Where the real change happens.

Transformation is the heart of a Rite of Passage. The space where old patterns are released and new possibility takes root.
You’ll learn how to create, support, and facilitate transformation through the four key elements that make this work powerful:
  • Story. Helping people share what they’ve lived, what they’ve carried, and what they’re ready to leave behind.
  • Challenge. Designing the intentional challenges that push people beyond their comfort zone and into growth.
  • Vision. Guiding people to articulate who they’re becoming and what they’re moving toward.
  • Honouring. Recognising and celebrating each person for who they are, the gifts they bring, and the steps they’ve taken.

Module 3

Integration

Returning home, changed.

Integration is the most important and most overlooked stage of a Rite of Passage. The work isn’t complete until what was learned in transformation comes home with the person, into their family, their friendships, their classroom, their workplace, and their community.
In this section, you’ll learn how to help people reflect on their experience, bring the gifts and wisdom back to those around them, and integrate what they’ve learned into the way they live their daily lives. This is where the change becomes life.
