A 2 or 3 night camp for you to spend quality time with your daughter in nature.

When was the last time you put aside some time for just you and your daughter? The Mother and Daughter camp offers a safe, distraction-free environment to spend 1 on 1 time together, which is so important yet often so rare in today’s busy world.
Our purpose-built facility in the Byron Bay hinterland is a beautiful, natural and safe place for you to slow down, connect and gain a better understanding of her needs as she grows into a young woman.

Meet The
Head of Camps

Luke has spent over two decades working at the intersection of men’s psychology, wilderness therapy, and rites of passage. He trained under some of the world’s leading figures in initiation and men’s work, and has personally guided thousands of fathers and sons through the Making of Men program.
He has a deep passion for this work and for seeing genuine connection build. Now as a father of 2, the connections he sees form on these camps hit differently.

Frequently asked questions.

Everything you need to know before you book. If your question isn’t here, reach out directly.
What actually happens on the program?

The program is a mixture of games and activities as well as a more serious side where we will be sharing stories as a way of passing on wisdom and knowledge, spending time relaxing around a fire, and in a facilitated discussion.

We create healthy, safe challenges to help your girls explore who they want to be in the next stage of their life and what behaviours they need to let go of. We will also create personal visions for the future and spend time recognising and acknowledging the gifts, talents and genius in each of us.

All of our camps and programs are completely non-denominational in nature and are not associated with any religion. We welcome everyone to our programs.
We create a sense of separation from your regular way of being. No phones, no routines, no watches and no computer — it helps us to be really present, think about things differently and have real conversations that don’t normally happen.
Since our camps are tech free and there is no reception on the property, our staff can get a message to participants in an emergency.

This is a weekend of camping in tents — note you cannot sleep or access your vehicle during the camp. If you have not booked camping equipment and need it, you can hire it from us — please email us if you need to book it (or if you are not sure if you have booked it already).
The week is fully catered for so there is no need to bring food. We will cater for your dietary needs so please do not bring additional food or snacks unless pre-arranged for specific dietary requirements.

Please include:

  • Day pack
  • Water bottle
  • Hat
  • Torch
  • Sunscreen & insect repellent
  • Sturdy walking shoes
  • Clothing for the outdoors
  • Rain jacket (essential)
  • Toiletries, towel and a face washer

Please do not bring any sports equipment, reading/writing material or non-prescription drugs or alcohol. Mobile phones, cameras, watches, computers and electronic devices will be collected on arrival and stored safely.

Our camps are held in Main Arm in the Byron Hinterland. Byron Hinterland weather can differ from the coastal forecast — the mountains are known for making their own weather at times!

Autumn (March–May): Generally mild and pleasant, daytime 20–24°C, dropping to around 12–16°C overnight. April and May tend to be drier months.

Winter (June–August): Cool to cold, daytime 15–20°C, nights dropping to 5–10°C. Prepare for cool conditions and possible wet weather, particularly in June and July.

Spring (September–October): Variable, daytime 18–24°C, overnight lows around 10–15°C. September can still be cool while October warms up. Occasional showers possible.

Regardless of the season, we recommend bringing layers and wet weather gear. Please keep an eye on the forecast in the days leading up to camp.
